GCIM Web Resources
Explanatory Note on the Official Web Resources of the Global Citizens International Movement (GCIM)
The Global Citizens International Movement (GCIM) wishes to inform all interested parties that the official news web resource of the Movement is press.gcim.eu. This site serves as the primary source on which the Office of Press Operations publishes all official materials of the Movement in the first instance.
The Movement notes that news.gcim.eu, info.gcim.eu, and wire.gcim.eu operate as mirror sites that reproduce the content of the official news web resource.
In this regard, the Movement considers it necessary to clarify the following:
1. Accessibility. The mirror sites have been established to ensure access to the Movement's official materials for the widest possible range of users, including in circumstances where access to the primary address is temporarily or permanently impeded for technical or other reasons.
2. Continuity of information. The Movement proceeds from the understanding that the availability of alternative addresses helps ensure uninterrupted access to reliable information, irrespective of regional restrictions, scheduled maintenance, or unforeseen disruptions.
3. Identity of content. It should be noted that the content of the mirror sites is fully identical to the materials on the official news web resource and is updated in tandem with it. The Movement further affirms that, in the event of any discrepancy, the version published at press.gcim.eu shall take precedence.
4. Authenticity of sources. The Movement draws attention to the fact that only the addresses listed above are recognized as official. Sites hosted in other domains or under other names have no affiliation with the Movement or the Office of Press Operations, and materials posted on such sites cannot be regarded as official. In this connection, the Movement calls on users to rely exclusively on the addresses specified herein.
5. Commitment to openness. By providing multiple channels of access to a single source, GCIM is guided by the principles of openness, transparency, and dialogue with the international community, civil society, and the media.
The Movement expresses its appreciation to all interested parties for their attention to its activities.
